The Holtzers, whenever they had the opportunity, were conscious citizens with a sense of social responsibility. This also meant that they contributed to the development and well-being of Szeged’s society through charity, donations, and foundations. Today, there are very few Holtzer descendants left; except for one person, everyone lives abroad. I wish to continue this tradition with the Holtzer-Horváth-Lindberg Foundation, almost a hundred years later, hoping that this foundation will contribute to enriching the cultural and social life of Szeged.”
